Foundations: Like a house, a painting is as good as its foundation. Here we will examine methods used by artists to start their painting. Examples can include variations such as drawing, grid and grid enlarging, tracing with carbon paper, and using enlargers.

Texture Creation: Examines different textures that can be created on canvas and How-Tos to explain the technique.

The Starving Artist: Researching avenues for making money in the art field.

Copy Cat: One picture will be chosen. Artists take this photo and recreate it in their own style. It will be interesting to see the results. A bold artist can also create a rendition of the photo another master painter’s style.

Fabulous Fakes: Who has recreated past master works. If someone was able to recreate a master artists’ painting, they must have talent. The difference between a real and imposter painting is simply the authentic signature. I sure couldn’t counterfeit a Rembrandt.
